GOLDEN RING MIDDLE SCHOOL PTA
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

Meeting called to order at 6:30pm.
MINUTES:
Read and approved.
TREASURER
REPORT: None.
- PRINCIPAL’S
REPORT: Ms. Hines spoke
to the board regarding the uniform policy at Golden Ring. She had
several sample polo shirts and crew neck sweat shirts on display
throughout the meeting. Ms. Hines explained the new policy of the
school going with a vendor in order for parents to order school
uniforms. Parents will be able to order uniforms by May 31st.
The uniform order sheets will be available at several meetings
throughout the school year such as: Open House Night,
Parent-Teacher Conferences and also available at the school
store. Orders will be paid either by cash, or money orders.
- Councilman
Bartenfelder will have a meet and greet exchange on Tuesday, March
11th at 9:00am. All are invited to attend.
PRESIDENT’S
REPORT: There will be a PTA
sponsored dinner on April 25th.
- TEACHER’S
REPORT: Civil Air Patrol
has asked the PTA to sponsor a community event next year. Mr.
Gasapro will discuss with Fran Lohoksi the plans for the up-coming
community event.
- Ms. Ohms
discussed that Mrs. Dodson needs money for the Special Education
Club Incentives. The PTA will give $100.00 to the club and also
$100.00 to Lisa Holland and Carolann Sharp for providing snacks for
MSA nights.
